On its way 8 trundles down the A64 behind Peter Woods Scammell Passing Under the ECML I appologise for the blur but I was running havuing held traffic up to let 8 go through centre road as it were view from the car as 8 rolls into the NRM overflow car park 8 going under the footbridge that on a summers evening we would hope the depot windows would be open so we could see what was on shed 8 about to pass under the ECML the first Deltic to do so

View of Crossley Evans Scrap Yard 5.2.04 Nearest the camera Hunslet 040 Prince Of Wales built in 1969 and saw use at the Esholt sewerage works before the closure of there internal railway system Both the Hunslet and sentinal shunters at work shunting EWS scrap wagons Entrance to the site which was the old Shipley Town Goods yard The scrap reception area Note the old wighbridge hut, the yard layout has altered very little Hunslet 'Prince Of Wales' (named at Esholt and still carries the plates) approaching the road bridge which runs through the middle of the site splitting it in two. This photo gives a good view of the yard, to the right is the connection to Network Rail with full wagons ready to go out, to the left wagons being filled ready to be shunted into the train At the other side of the bridge is a passing loop where empty wagons are kept prior to loading. A good shot showing clearly the rail entrance to the yard
